Ever since 2007, when the Alliance and Empire expansion came out with square bases
in commemoration of Star Wars 30th Anniversary and it was announced that if this set was reprinted it would come out with regular bases like all the other sets, many chose to wait. Well I didn't wait to buy the square based set, but I would have preferred normal bases. So much so that I decided to rebase most of the OT minis I have on display with round ones.
